October Loot Crate Unboxing and Halloween Giveaway!

Hi everyone!

My Loot Crate came today, and I was really excited to open it. Unfortunately, I'm really busy with school work and didn't have a chance to make a video, but I took some quick pictures so you can see what is in this month's Loot Crate.

The theme was Survive, which warmed my little geek heart since I'm a big zombie fan. Here's a look at what Loot Crate thinks every good zombie hunter needs:

A newly opened Loot Crate...it's so promising.

Gummy fingers and a Loot Crate zombie hunter license.

Some zombie-themed buttons.

Cute zombie-themed greeting card.

Outbreak Status tattoos.

Pretty much the most adorably punny t-shirt ever.

A (new) copy of Max Brooks's The Zombie Survival Guide.

"But Amanda!," I hear you say. "How do you, as a self-respecting zombie fan, not have a copy of Max Brooks's The Zombie Survival Guide?" That is a great question! The answer is that I totally do have a copy of this book. Which leads us to my awesome Halloween Giveaway!

That's right! I'm going to give away this brand-new copy of The Zombie Survival Guide. Unfortunately, I'm a broke grad student, so the prize is only available to those in the U.S. in order to make shipping costs manageable. Here's the Rafflecopter widget--you know what to do!

  1. I use to have a subscription to Loot Crate (but canceled it since I'm a poor college student, ha).. I loved it though! And that crate looks so awesome! :D

    1. I always consider ending my subscription, since I am also a poor college student. I haven't, yet, because I'm too afraid they'll do something I really love as soon as I cancel.

  3. Yay! I can't wait to get my Loot Crate now. I have it sent to my parents' house since I have neighbors that steal my mail :( I only have a subscription sporadically because I'm poor, and I hate having to cancel because it seems like an awesome box always happens the month I cancel lol (like I got the August one...I think..whatever the Portal based one was, which I really didn't like. And then the next month I cancelled and it was the Animate crate, which I totally wanted! Its a bummer.)

    1. That's what I'm always afraid of when I think about cancelling it! But I guess that's the thing about subscription boxes, even if it makes me sad inside. I really enjoyed the Animate crate, I think it was my favorite one ever. I got a Donatello Pop!Vinyl figure, which would have been enough to make me ridiculously happy on its own.

And what the heck with neighbors that steal mail? You should put a bunch of dog poop in a box on your porch, or something, and let them steal that. Teach 'em a lesson.
