IGN reported today that Turbine has announced a new expansion for Lord of the Rings Online--Riders of Rohan. Characters can now reach level 85, and characters will be able to participate in mounted combat AND meet the Ents of Fangorn Forest.
I only dabble in playing LOTRO, so I haven't felt the need to invest in the Rise of Isengard expansion. However, the Riders of Rohan expansion has me excited, and I will probably start playing LOTRO more and buy this expansion when it comes out in the fall. This news, the Hobbit premiere in December, plus the LEGO news reported last week, has made me one very happy Tolkien fan this year.
